SCOPE BASES AND RINGS
On any caliber in any action we suggest using steel scope bases/mounts whenever possible. This simple choice is a great first step toward improved accuracy potential. It may not seem like a big factor, but particularly in firearms that have scope bases attaching directly to the barrel, your scope base will heat up with the barrel’s natural warming during repeated firings. If an aluminum base is installed on this hot spot, it will heat at a different rate than the barrel itself. In addition, aluminum has the ability to hammer out of dimension under recoil. Scope rings can, over time, wear the original dimension and stability of aluminum bases which can lead to loose scope/ring fit and with that a drop in accuracy, even potential for damage to your scope’s internal parts.
These solid steel 6-screw attachment bases are made right here in-house. The 6-screw attachment accommodates the traditional T/C 4-hole scope pattern with two additional holes leap-frogged forward for a yet stronger attachment. The base was modeled after Warne's Maxima steel base, though it is taller for additional hammer clearance.

Leupold PRW2 Rings
Steel rings that fit all Weaver-style scope bases. Secure directly to the base with two Torx screws for rock solid dependability. Rings tilt off of base while remaining solidly mounted and in alignment on scope.

Steel mounts that offer solid ring in base fit using two turn-in dovetail rings. Leupold dovetail rings should be installed by a gunsmith or lapped for precise alignment. Leupold Dual Dovetail bases can also be paired with Burris Signature Double Dovetail rings (see below).

Posi-Align system utilizes synthetic inserts that pivot within outer steel ring. Grips like a solid weld without damaging scope. Ensures correct alignment of scope without the need for lapping.
Aluminum Bases
Evolution Gun Works (EGW) Picatinny Rail
Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories. The channel in the center reduces the overall mass of the mount, weighing in at 2-3oz on average. Also, in many cases, it will not obstruct usage of factory iron sights.This mount is a Picatinny-style base and compatible with Picatinny or Weaver scope rings.
