CUSTOM BOLT ACTION BARRELS
Caliber options include all listed below, though the bolt-face and style of action may limit or extend your chamber options from this detailed list.
All custom bolt action barrels include blueprinting/truing of the action (and recoil lug when applicable). We do not supply barrels threaded and short-chambered for installation by another company or gunsmith. Each of our custom barrels also includes our standard recessed 11° target crown, as well as your choice of barrel profiles. We offer profile matching for shooters not looking to modify their gunstock, though this is best confirmed when the gunstock is in our hands for physical confirmation.
If you are interested in a caliber you do not see below please contact us by email or phone to discuss your project. We may already have a tight-tolerance reamer in-house so the cost would be as below. If we do not have a reamer for your preferred caliber, but we confirm it is an option for your project, you may choose either to have us rent a reamer for one-time use, or to have a reamer ordered custom for your repeated use (sent to you after the project is completed, or stored in-house).

* Custom barrels chambered in 7.62 x 39 will be built on a true .308" groove barrel. This does not allow for use of ANY re-manufactured or factory-built ammunition regardless of bullet diameter used. These products are commonly made for traditional military chambers with larger bore sizes or have been fired in oversized chambers and may cause damage to your firearm when used in our barrels. Our 7.62 x 39 barrels are intended to be handload-only.

How Do I Place My Custom Order?
Bullberry integral brakes are available on almost any custom bolt action pistol or rifle barrel, no matter the make. See our Muzzlebrakes page for more information and additional photographs.

Please note, at this time we are not offering our threading services on barrels that we do not turn to finished dimension; this decision is to maintain our high standards of precision and accuracy. This means if you supply us with an already-turned barrel blank for custom finishing, or you would like to add a brake or suppressor to an existing finished rifle, no matter the make we only offer integrated brakes.
Optional Barrel Add-ons and Accessories
First and foremost, we want to talk with you. While we prefer a phone call to go over the variety of details and options involved with every custom order, we are happy to work by email as well.
You should know that most orders do not require any deposit. Non-refundable deposits are required for all special order barrels, in the value of the corresponding "premium". Deposits are also requested for special order add-ons like ProHunter frames and scopes.

External Bolt Release
Available for the Remington XP-100 frames. Rather than having to take a wire or small Allen wrench to engage the hidden bolt release, the small tab in the slot to the left of the bolt shroud simply needs to be lifted to fully remove the bolt for easy cleaning.
Please be aware that the process requires that we machine your action to create the shown slot in which the release lever functions.
This option is only $89.
Bolt Face Clean-up
As this process changes the head-space this service is only offered during rebarreling and is actually included when needed, at no addition cost, as part of our action truing. Primer gas cutting can lead to a need for this process, either by coarse polishing or machine facing.
Installation of Sako-style Extractor
Fred has been transitioning difficult Remington bolt action extractors to the Sako-style for decades now. Heavily used Remington bolts will often have damaged or worn extractors. This can be solved with the installation of a new Sako-style extractor, while creating more reliable extraction. As each bolt has some variety, some even requiring bushing prior to extractor installation, this service starts at $175.
You may choose to replace your factory trigger or not. As with our T/C trigger adjustments we will do our best to set your trigger to the specific pull you want, generally possible in 1/4-pound increments. Every frame is different, so we have begun utilizes a price scale determined by the time and work spent to perfect the feel and function on each trigger. Please call about the availability of Timney triggers for your firearm model and pull range, if you are looking to have us replace your factory original trigger.
